introduces the character of Roxie, an unusually tiny girl growing up in a cramped house of women artists - her sister, her mom and her grandmother.

Roxie Dreams Big is a fully-illustrated picture book chronicling Roxie’s search for a room of her own.  Sharing a bedroom with her teenage sister isn’t working and there never seems to be space for her  to spread out. That is, until she lays claim on the attic.

Roxie’s challenge is to think outside the box and create a bedroom/art studio out of the hodge-podge of stuff up there. The result is a magical place where she can stretch her tiny frame out and let her imagination soar.

Future books invite readers to join Roxie as she explores various art forms; Roxie Makes Up a Song, Roxie Paints a Painting, Roxie Writes a Story, etc...

Roxie Dreams Big encourages young girls to dream big and let their imaginations soar. The  Roxie series simplifies each art form and guides the readers to  respect their creativity and honor the creativity of the women who have come before them.
