DAMES LIKE US is an ensemble monologue play loosely set in Salon de Sofia, where Sofia, the salty Argentinian bikini-waxer and take-no-prisoners proprietress, shares the stage with a revolving troupe of NY actors as they move from wig to wig and persona to persona, transforming themselves into 15 unforgettable human beings. Inspired by real women and their stories, it exudes a great deal of heart and poignancy yet it’s outrageous as it is funny. Be forewarned - this is no “granny” show!
